Procrastination, Then Progress
Hello once again.
Welcome back. My name is Amya, you can call me Red. I am a young and relatively novice artist. I’ve been attending Salem High School's Visual Art Academy for around three years now. I’ve dabbled in different media and mediums and played with a variety of concepts in my time here. I strive to spark a little conversation, find other individuals with similar struggles and thoughts as myself, and let the rest of the world know that people like me are in it, and this is my second project Blog post/ process reflection.
Make it stand out
Since my last project blog post, I have partially completed the very first project of my junior year series. Unlike what I've experienced with the past few projects I have completed, my concept has not varied from the original vision; although, there is still plenty of time. Also, since the first post, I have recycled a canvas of the perfect scale, prepped it, and had my sketch transferred onto it. I painted the entire face and have now moved on to painting the rest of the body. I am hoping to move on the clothing and hair sometime within the next three days; hopefully, the entire project completed by next week, along with my second project of the series.
Throughout the process, I have recorded and captured photos of my process. most of which, I wish to post in my final blog for this project. The images I have posted here are a bit behind in how much progress I have made.
-The mouth and the contour of the cheekbones will need some work as I reach the end of the process.
I can't wait to meet again for the final product of this project.
